00:22President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. received

00:26Slovenian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fahon in Malacanang.

00:32The President expressed his gratitude to Vice Prime Minister Fahon

00:35for bringing the first embassy of Slovenia in Southeast Asia, particularly in Manila.

00:40He said that it will serve as a pathway for deeper cooperation between the two countries,

00:46particularly in the field of diplomacy and administration.

00:49The two officials also discussed the Loss and Damage Fund,

00:52where the Philippines was chosen as a board.

00:55It is a big deal for Slovenia and the Philippines,

00:58particularly in terms of the effects of climate change.

01:02Ambassador Eduardo Antonio Yang Virzi was also accepted by the President

01:06as the new body of Panama in the Philippines.

01:09The President also gave the firm position of the Philippines and Panama

01:12as an important center of the bilateral and maritime relations,

01:48Abdul Rauf Makakwa was formally appointed as the Interim Chief Minister of the Moro Transition Authority.
