00:23This is after President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:26hired all the POGO workers in the Philippines

00:29until the end of the year.

00:47In total, DOLE held four special job fairs

00:52in various places in Metro Manila.

00:54More than 200 Internet Gaming Licensee or IGL workers were hired on the spot.

01:00More than 4,000 applicants were helped to avail

01:03the SSS Unemployment Insurance Benefit.

01:07More than 700 IGL employees were included in the employment facilitation.

01:11More than 100 IGL workers were given livelihood assistance

01:16and two IGL workers were placed under skills or technical training.

01:21Although we are focused on the workers

01:24of the legitimate operators of the IGL Internet Gaming Licensees,

01:30we will not turn away the workers who came from the illegal.

01:38Meanwhile, the average employment rate in the country increased by more than 1%.

01:43That's equivalent to more than 48 million Filipinos

01:46who were given a job that is higher than more than 47 million Filipinos last year.

01:53The average unemployment rate in the country decreased by more than 1%.

01:57The average underemployment rate is also increasing.
