00:00Keith Stewart from Read the Line is with us every week.
00:02Let's get to his selections, the outrights,
00:04and as I said before the break,
00:07the Septic Tank, he is well-liked this week
00:11amongst the golf betting community.
00:13He's on your card, and there's reasons for it, Keith.
00:16He's playing some good golf right now.
00:18You know, Mike, this is not a disclaimer.
00:20This is a PSA.
00:21I've been out here for seven weeks, right?
00:23And I've been out, you know,
00:25I went everywhere but Mexico.
00:27I've been all over watching the same guys play golf
00:30all spring, and you know, it's, they,
00:33I know who's playing well, right?
00:35And these are the guys that are playing well.
00:36This is a volatile place, but the kid right at the top,
00:39plus 1,800 Ludwig Olberg, right?
00:42He, his rookie year last year,
00:43he finished eighth here, Mike, right?
00:45The guy's generally really talented off the tee.
00:48That's the type of guy we need.
00:49He's going to stripe it down the middle, right?
00:51Yeah, I know.
00:52He was T-22 at API.
00:53We liked him last week, but he's hitting the ball so well.
00:56He's hitting the ball fifth of the century.
00:57He's got the win at, you know, at Genesis.
00:59I, I just can't get away from this guy.
01:01The, you know, Tommy Fleetwood and Colin Markow
01:04aren't walking through that winner's door.
01:06This kid can do it.
01:07And then I see Hideki up there in the thirties,
01:09plus 3,300.
01:11I still think about five years ago
01:12when he shot 63 in the first round.
01:13And they said, sorry, Hideki, your tournament's over.
01:16It's over for everybody.
01:17Cause it was the COVID year, right?
01:18The guy won the century at like, I don't know, 67 under par.
01:22He sets the scoring record for the PGA tour, right?
01:25He shot 63 that year in 2020
01:27and tied the course record here at Sawgrass.
01:30He's got seven top 25s here in nine starts,
01:33and he's got four top tens.
01:35Hideki, no one ever pays attention to this guy.
01:37And I know the driver has been a little bit shaky
01:39at times this spring,
01:40but it was really good last week at API.
01:42I love him rolling into a place that he's comfortable.
01:45Now we got to talk about the septic tank.
01:47Why is he so popular?
01:48Well, he's 50 to one,
01:49and he's the type of player that has shown already this year
01:52that he can beat other elite players.
01:54Since he won the Amex, a seventh, a 15th, a miscut,
01:57and then an 11th and a fifth to back up that miscut,
02:01the guy is getting better and better.
02:03And in 2025, he's top five,
02:05tee to green for the year so far.
02:07I mean, this guy is super trending
02:09and the type of person that comes into the players
02:11and is going to continue to play well
02:13and could win this thing.
02:14And then the other guy, Daniel Berger,
02:16he's got a great history here.
02:18And what I love most about it is that you talk about
02:20the tree on six and how you have to fit balls
02:23into the fairways here.
02:24You just can't just blast away.
02:25And that's why Scottie's been so good here.
02:27He can shape it both ways.
02:28Well, Berger, he can absolutely hit the fairway all the time.
02:32He's got that low cut.
02:33He can also hit all sorts of clubs.
02:35He can definitely put the ball in the fairway
02:37and he has an exquisite wedge game.
02:39So I love him.
02:40I mean, everyone's complaining
02:41about the first round at API, Mike.
02:43How about he backs it up with 69, 68, 70
02:46as the golf course got harder?
02:49It's no doubt.
02:50And look, I'm with you on Hideki.
02:52That's a silly number for Hideki, that 33 to one.
02:56And I don't really like, we've talked about this in the past.
02:59I get scared off by him.
03:00I always worry he's going to grab his back
03:02in the middle of Friday's round and go home.
03:05So that always gets me nervous,
03:06but the number's too enticing.
03:08He's on my card this week as well.
