00:00Well, we could start there.
00:04He's ranked 118th in FedEx Cup points, and that's the whole reason this thing happens
00:08in the fall.
00:09You got eight events to get in the top 125.
00:12But don't forget that 51 to 60 range, because the guys are fighting for that too.
00:17I mean, look at a guy like Matt Hughes, who won the Sanderson back in 2022.
00:21He's 51st on the points list.
00:23Those first 10 guys after 50 get in those signature events in February, and those are
00:28those $20 million cash grabs.
00:30They change careers.
00:32But Joel, he's got to get it done.
00:33And at 125 to 1, I love it.
00:36Absolutely.
00:37The ball striking is always good for Joel, but here's the thing.
00:40It's the putter, but it pops here at Sanderson, right?
00:44He's been here over five times, and he's averaged a positive gain with the putter over a stroke.
00:49So when you see that with Joel and his ability to ball strike, you jump on him.
00:53Another guy, Charlie Hoffman.
00:55Where is Charlie Hoffman, right?
00:57He is right down the middle of the fairway.
00:59He's had a great ball striking season.
01:01Remember when he lost in a playoff there at the Waste Management?
01:03He's been in the heat.
01:04He's felt the smoke this year.
01:06Charlie's had a good year, and this has been a good place for him at plus 6,600.
01:10I love that hit.
01:12The next guy, Adam Svendsen, as we climb down this week.
01:15I don't know why.
01:16We started with Joel.
01:17Here's where we are.
01:18Adam Svendsen, plus 4,000.
01:20Spenny's been good the last couple of starts.
01:22He's been there in the top 15, and he's another guy.
01:25He's great on Bermudagrass, and he is great.
01:27I mean, he's won in the fall before.
01:29You got to look at these fall guys.
01:31We play the same venues every year, and Svendsen's been a good, good fall player the last couple
01:36of years.
01:37He's got a win at the RSM, and he creates a ton of birdies on Bermudagrass greens.
01:41And then the last guy, JJ Spahn.
01:43I'm going to keep playing.
01:44There's nobody striking the ball better in the field at the Sanderson, right?
01:49So you got to go with this guy.
01:51At the top of the board, I'm not taking Killer Keith Mitchell.
01:54Last time I took him was Houston.
01:55You know that.
01:56It's been 26 weeks.
01:57My recovery is going very, very well.
01:59We don't bet him.
02:00No cashmere.
02:01We're going JJ.
02:02He's the best approach player in the field.
02:04Let's get it done.
02:07Placements next, Keith, including someone who we talked about a moment ago who was involved
02:11in that big playoff last year, and that is Ben Griffin.
02:15Top 10.
02:16Bermuda Ben Griffin.
02:17I feel like he's got all the skill set we need to do this again.
02:20I'm going to take the 10 places, and I'm not going to go for him with the win, even though
02:23he's so popular.
02:24In the top 20s, I got Spawn, and I'm also going with Matt Kuchar.
02:29Kuchar's the human ATM.
02:31We know this.
02:32He's been great in the fall.
02:33He's won in the fall before, and he is one of those guys that if you look at strokes
02:38gained since the U.S. Open, in this field, he's the top five guy.
02:42He has played incredibly well, and he needs the cash.
02:46He's sitting right around 100 in those FedEx cut points.
02:48He's a guy that thinks of himself as a signature guy because he loves the money.
02:52He wants to get in those $20 million cash grabs.
02:55He has a great history at Pebble Beach.
02:56That's the first one to get into, and then the third guy, Patrick Fishberg, another guy
03:00that's played great all summer, a bomber who can also putt.
03:04That's the recipe here.
03:05Out of the top 40s, I've got some names for you.
03:08Henrik Norlander.
03:09His last four starts here, a fourth, a fourth, a 24th, and he was in that five-man playoff
03:14last year.
03:15How about Zach Blair?
03:16Zach Blair gaining on average about four strokes total against the field in his last
03:22five starts, drives it straight, putts it good, another good fall player, and then
03:26the last guy, Bud Cawley, went to Alabama, roll tide, baby.
03:32Those guys down there can play that champion, Bermuda Grass, and before his injury, 2011,
03:37he finished fourth there, 2012, he finished fourth.
