00:00It's Coop with Big98.1 live from Walt Disney World. Remember, you can enter to win your
00:05vacation to Disney World. What an amazing thing that would be. Big98.1.com. But let's talk about,
00:09we've talked about the parks, we've talked about the food, we've talked about the fun.
00:12Let's talk about the resorts here at Walt Disney World because I've been lucky enough,
00:16Brian's with me right now, to go to a lot of the different amazing resorts that you guys have here
00:21in your collection. Every one of them is fantastic. Each one of them is completely different and they
00:26have different sort of things and themes that you can take a part of. Talk to me about your
00:31incredible Disney resorts collection. Yeah, yeah. We love them because, as you just said,
00:36they're incredibly themed. They are not just hotels, they are resorts, they are created by
00:41our Walt Disney Imagineers, and there is a story behind every single one of them.
00:46I think you might be staying over at, is it Animal Kingdom? I'm at Animal Kingdom. We're at
00:51Jumbo House, which is incredible. The room itself is obviously incredible and it is themed,
00:56obviously, as Animal Kingdom, but we do have a view over into the wildlife. There was a giraffe
01:01that walked by the other day as my kids were out on the balcony and there's zebras and all the
01:04different animals. It's an incredible resort. That's right. And you know, it's exactly right.
01:09It's not just about what's inside the room, but what's outside the window for you. You got giraffes
01:14and zebras and a whole savannah. Some people are looking at Cinderella Castle. Some people are
01:19looking at Spaceship Earth. So there's really so much when you're right in the middle of the magic.
01:24We were talking about planning your Disney vacation too, and there's different price
01:27points for these resorts as well. We've stayed at the Art of Animation, an incredible resort. I love
01:32that. It's a lot of fun, especially if you've got some of the younger kids like I do. The way that
01:36it's decorated and themed is amazing. All the way up to, I've been lucky enough to stay at the Grand
01:40Floridian, which is, I mean, I don't know that there's anything that compares to it. It's
01:44incredible. I remember there's a specific thing that my kids talk about because we stayed there
01:48a few years ago. In the bathroom at our room at the Grand Floridian, there was a TV inside of the
01:55mirror in the bathroom, and you could watch Mickey Mouse as you brush your teeth. Can't have enough TVs, right?
02:01All right, so talk to me about maybe some of the other resorts that you have here. I know the
02:05Polynesian is one that I have not had a chance to stay at, but I hear so many amazing things about it.
02:10Yeah, well, Polynesian, that's one of those two that you can feel the joy of being in the
02:16Polynesian Isles there, and that's one of those resorts where you can look out the window, you can
02:21see Cinderella Castle right there. The monorail is going through it, and that's another thing.
02:26Our resorts all are connected to our transportation system, so we have 40 square miles
02:34of property here, so we have to have some pretty good transportation, but it's not just good and
02:39efficient, but it's fun. From monorails to boats to skyliners to get you across property easily,
02:45quickly, and enjoyably. Yeah, I mean, it really is. You can't beat staying at the resorts inside
02:50the park because, you know, you do have the bus transportation to and from. For us, we're at Animal
02:55Kingdom, so you just hop on the bus. It takes you to wherever you want, and it takes you back
02:59as well, and those run all day and all night as well. But if you stay at like a boardwalk,
03:02and we know something about a boardwalk in Philly, Jersey Shore, all that stuff. Stay at the boardwalk
03:06the last time, and you can just walk right into Epcot. I mean, it's right there. You know,
03:10it depends on which one of the resorts you stay at, but they're all incredibly convenient,
03:13and they also have amenities for the kids to at the actual resort. You know, we went to the pool
03:17last night at Animal Kingdom. Kids had a great time. There's slides, and all the different resorts have
03:21different themed pools as well, right? They do, and actually, that makes me think about a new
03:26benefit that we have just launched this year, and that is if you're staying at one of our Disney
03:31Resort Collection hotels on your day of arrival, you can go to our water parks for free, and we
03:38just love that. So if anyone's coming this summer, which pools are especially appealing in the
03:44summertime, you can go to Typhoon Lagoon. Typhoon Lagoon has got the largest wave pool in the
03:52country in North America. So to be able to go there for free is a pretty nice benefit.
03:58That's an incredible perk, and I gotta tell you, the kids don't care how cold it is or how nice it
04:02is. We went in last night. The kids went in last night. It was a little chilly last night. There was
04:05some wind here in Orlando. They don't care. They just want to get in the pool. They want to have a
04:08great time. They want to enjoy the slides, and you can enjoy all of that, including, obviously,
04:12the water park for free. When you book your trip to Disney, trust me, stay at one of these resorts.
04:17You're going to find one that you fall in love with. Plan your trip again the next year. Try
04:20a different resort because they are incredible, and they all have their own themes. Thank you
04:24so much. I appreciate it, Brian.
