00:00but I've been blessed to have what I deserve.
00:03But Grady Jarrett is, he's probably one or two.
00:08And I say that because of what, you know,
00:11he took a defense when he got to Clemson
00:14that was pretty uneven.
00:17And then, you know, two, three short years later,
00:21we were number one in college football
00:23in like 18 categories,
00:25the first time that that's been done,
00:27you know, in 20 plus years.
00:28And he did that, just, he put the whole team on his back
00:32and everybody followed.
00:33We, his senior year, we had eight, eight senior starters.
00:37We had, and this is a true story.
00:39Somebody, so somebody on draft day,
00:42they, we had Vic Beasley was a first rounder
00:45and Stephon Anthony on that defense
00:47that were first rounders that same year.
00:49And they said that, so one of the GMs from a school called
00:53and said, should we take Vic Beasley in the first round?
00:56And I said, yeah, you should take Vic Beasley
00:58in the first round.
00:59But if, but if you're asking me who I would take first
01:03in the first round, I said, it's Grady Jarrett.
01:05And I know they kind of snickered
01:08and they said, well, why would you take Grady Jarrett
01:10in the first round?
01:11Of course, you know, he had the measurables
01:13of a, you know, fourth or fifth rounder.
01:16And I said, because Grady Jarrett's
01:18gonna change your locker room.
01:19I said, Vic Beasley is gonna win you a game,
01:21but Grady Jarrett's gonna change your locker room.
01:24And that's what he did for the Atlanta Falcons.
01:27You know, he's a pillar in the locker room.
01:31He's a multiplier in every way.
01:33You know, he was a, you know, he was the NFL man of the year.
01:37Now he's a captain from the jump.
01:39And he did, he elevated, you know, the Falcons defense.
01:43I think in his first, his rookie year,
01:45I think he had three sacks in the Superbowl
01:47against Tom Brady.
01:48And just, man, he's a dude of dudes.
01:51That's all I would say.
01:52Whatever they're paying him, you can't pay that guy enough.
