00:00The Department of Transportation reaffirmed the importance of private transportation in the country, including MRT-3.
00:09This is to improve safety and improve service to commuters.
00:15An escalator of the MRT-3 in Taft Station malfunctioned on March 8, injuring 10 passengers.
00:25Yesterday, the DOTR reported that the escalator was repaired with the assistance of maintenance provider Sumitomo Corporation.
00:34The DOTR confirmed that the MRT-3 will pay the medical expenses of our injured countrymen
00:41while the insurance company will assess the approval of compensation for the loss of income due to the incident.
00:50The DOTR also urged the public to report to the MRT-3's hotline 0995-736-3129 for the same incident to be addressed immediately.
