00:00Train travel is now extended while the special permit application for other public transportation is also open for the upcoming Christmas.
00:12The DOTR or Department of Transportation announced that starting today, December 16, Monday,
00:20the travel will be extended until December 23,
00:23while the number of passengers is expected this holiday season.
00:27However, the DOTR explained that it will not reach midnight so that there is still enough time for the maintenance of the trains.
00:37Meanwhile, the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board also opened the application for the special permit of public utility vehicles
00:48wherein it is effective from December 20 this year until January 4, 2025.
00:55It should be noted that the new units of TNVS have already received a special permit of P5,000,
01:03as well as for public utility buses.
01:06Meanwhile, the number of passengers is expected this Christmas.
