00:00She was so hungry that she was just following the bread around.
00:05A group of kids on a mission trip were feeding her.
00:21So they brought her over to the United States.
00:24And they ended up finding the animal pad.
00:26And since we found her, she's eight and a half pounds.
00:28It's crazy. I cannot believe that.
00:33Tori has a cancerous disease.
00:36First video that I saw was a video about her going through chemo.
00:39As a cancer survivor myself, and having gone through pretty grueling chemo,
00:45I thought, OK, that's my dog.
00:47Tori, did you hear? Oh, my goodness.
00:53Hi, did you graduate?
00:57And I instantly was just like, now she's medically cleared.
01:00I'm bringing her home.
01:02I'm a graduate.
01:11That day she came in, I sat down on the ground,
01:14and she comes over and just flops down and puts her head in my lap and looks up at me.
01:19And I was like, oh, my God, you're home.
01:23She's slowly starting to learn how to be a dog.
01:26Oh, my God, that's so cute.
01:27She's learning how to play with toys.
01:34You're done? A little overwhelming?
01:39I'm an ER nurse, and so I see a lot of cancer patients.
01:42And sometimes it wears on me.
01:44But OK, come home.
01:46And I see this Goofy, just as happy as could be a cancer survivor.
01:51I'm grateful that I was even chosen to adopt her.
