00:07Let's meet Riza Rasko and the story of his journey.

00:16The dream of many of us is to travel around the world,

00:19to see, experience, and discover what's out there in our country.

00:23Riza Rasko is one of the Filipinos who has visited all 193 member states of the United Nations,

00:372 UN observer states, the Vatican City and Palestine,

00:41and 5 non-UN member states, such as Taiwan.

00:43He has also visited 7 continents around the world, including Antarctica,

00:48and all 82 provinces of the Philippines.

00:51I felt good.

00:56The main feeling I felt when I crossed my last country, North Korea, was a feeling of relief, actually.

01:07Because I waited more than 3 years for North Korea to open.

01:16I was finally able to complete my 30-year quest to visit all the countries in the world.

01:24He is the chairman and co-founder of the Philippine Global Explorer,

01:28a non-profit organization that was established by well-traveled Filipinos to support

01:33initiatives related to education, local tourism, heritage preservation, and environmental conservation in the Philippines.

01:40Aside from this, he is a particular scientist in the field of genetic engineering and molecular biology.

01:45When I asked him about the most unforgettable country and province in the Philippines that he has visited,

01:50he said, it's hard to answer because there are so many beautiful places.

01:54But Africa is one that he will never forget, and the province of Sulu,

01:57where he was blessed with a very good wealth.

02:00He also said that education has been a great help for him to achieve this success.

02:06Education shaped my opportunities.

02:10It gave me the skills to navigate both the world and my own life.

02:17It taught me to make smart choices.

02:21The world does not belong solely to the privileged.

02:27It belongs to those bold enough to dream and determined enough to make those dreams a reality.
