00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. talked about last week the programs that are more beneficial to Filipinos,
00:07such as the approval of the fund for the establishment of child development centers.
00:12He also inspected the Rice Processing System 2 in Isabela.

00:21On Monday, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. helped the government agencies
00:26to draft a long-term plan for those affected by the eruption of Mount Canlaon,
00:32including the establishment of permanent evacuation sites and relocation areas.
00:37The Task Force Canlaon, led by the Defense Department, will also be formed.
00:41On Tuesday, he led a sectoral meeting in Palacio,
00:45where he approved the P700 million fund
00:48for the establishment of child development centers or CDCs this year,
00:53particularly for 4th and 5th class municipalities or poor towns
00:57that do not have enough funds for basic education development hubs.
01:01The President said that education should be prioritized
01:05aside from other aspects that the administration supports,
01:09especially education.
01:10It should be prioritized not only by Filipino children, but also by the country.
01:14On Thursday, the President inspected the Rice Processing System 2 in Ipil, Echage, Isabela.
01:20It has a multi-stage rice mill with a capacity of 3 tons per hour
01:25that is worth Php 48.58 million and 5 recirculating dryers.
01:31Each can process 12 tons that is worth Php 18.9 million.
01:37Its purpose is to reduce production costs
01:40and to avoid the loss of farmers after the eruption.
01:44It supports the 70,000 farmers in Isabela
01:49that are registered under the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture or RSBSA.
01:55The President also personally inspected the Santa Maria Bridge
01:59that was damaged after a part of it collapsed last month.
02:03According to him, the cause is a wrong design
02:06which is why the part of the bridge gave way, as well as the overloading.
02:09The President also emphasized that because of the savings,
02:12it is like a back to zero again because of the need to build a bridge.
02:17The Executive Board also assured that there will be an answer to the incident.
02:20But first, he needs to address the problem and fix the structure.
