00:00All right. The Tigers were a surprise last year for many people. And Kerry Carpenter,
00:04one of the pleasant surprises in that lineup. Last year in 2024, he had 18 homers, 57 RBI,
00:10hit 284 in just 87 games. So it's wheels up for Kerry Carpenter, 27 years old. You look at some
00:16of the projections here, George, for him, 22 homers, 70 RBI. Maybe the batting average takes
00:22a little bit of a regression here. But Carpenter, very solid last year. Detroit, a team that,
00:27again, has some upside. And that division is going to be very competitive. Is Kerry Carpenter
00:32a late-round outfielder that people should be paying attention to?
00:37Yes. Because once again, we say it over and over again, 12-team league,
00:41five outfielders, 60 outfielders, plus you're going to have a couple of outfielders at DH,
00:44plus the ones that are on reserve. Every outfielder is gone. All right. Everyone's
00:47gone here. The only problem is I think the upside is limited. All right. You are playing America.
00:52It's a pitcher's ballpark. It's not a hitter's ballpark. So I don't see 30-plus home runs
00:58happening here. All right. But I think, once again, he could be a serviceable guy. He's a
01:01guy who won't hurt you, that kind of thing. A filler. By the way, when I say that, I don't
01:05mean that as a negative. We all need fillers. Guys that aren't going to hurt you and probably
01:09aren't going to win you a league either here. But we all need guys like that, especially when you
01:13have five outfielders. You're not getting five All-Stars. You're not. Not unless you're at the
01:17outfield the first five rounds. All right. So you need guys like this. So I have no problem
01:21grabbing Kerry Carpenter late, but it's an unsexy name. Upside is limited here.
