00:00Good afternoon to all of us.
00:02Our Wodeout Day is here on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
00:08On this day, or at the moment, the Shire Line continues to run.
00:13This is what you can see as a line of traffic
00:17due to the combination of cold wind and hot wind.
00:23To those who are asking,
00:24does the Northeast Monsoon reach our country?
00:28Yes.
00:29But up to the extreme Northern Luzon,
00:33or the Batanes and Baboyan Islands.
00:36In 11 parts of our country,
00:39we were affected by the Easterlies,
00:43or hot and windy winds from the Pacific Ocean.
00:48Meanwhile, we no longer monitor
00:51low-pressure areas or typhoons in the Pacific Ocean
00:55and in our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:02For the next two to three days,
01:05the Shire Line will continue to run from now until tomorrow.
01:10Mostly in the eastern part of Luzon,
01:13such as Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon,
01:16as well as some parts of Bicol Region.
01:21As the Shire Line continues to run,
01:24so does the Northeast Monsoon.
01:26Now, in the extreme Northern Luzon,
01:28we expect that almost the entire Northern Luzon
01:31will be affected by the Northeast Monsoon.
01:35But on Tuesday,
01:38we expect the Shire Line to weaken,
01:41as well as the Northeast Monsoon.
01:44As the two weather systems weaken,
01:46the Easterlies will increase,
01:48and we expect that the entire country
01:51will be affected by the Easterlies.
01:57Tomorrow, due to the Shire Line,
02:00we will experience cloudy skies
02:03with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms
02:07in mainland Cagayan, Cordillera, Aurora,
02:11as well as Quezon, Quirino, and Bulacan,
02:16as well as Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, and Bicol Region.
02:23The skies will also be cloudy
02:25with isolated and weak rains
02:27in Batanes and Baboyan Islands.
02:31Meanwhile, in the southern part of Luzon,
02:34as well as the entire Visayas and Mindanao,
02:38the weather will be good and clear.
02:42It will also be sunny and warm,
02:45especially in the afternoon and evening.
02:50However, we expect sudden rainfalls
02:54due to thunderstorms.
02:56Just like yesterday,
02:58we experienced heavy rainfall
03:00in Metro Manila,
03:02where there was flooding
03:04in a place in Camaylaan.
03:08As for our three-day weather outlook,
03:12we expect the effects of easterly winds
03:16in a large part of our country.
03:18So, in Metro Manila,
03:21Baguio City, Legazpi City,
03:24Visayas, and Mindanao,
03:29you will see that the weather is good and clear
03:32that we expect for these days.
03:35We still expect hot and stormy weather.
03:40However, there is still a chance
03:42of sudden rainfalls,
03:44especially in the afternoon and evening,
03:48like thunderstorms.
03:53The sun will set later at 6 or 6 pm.
03:58Tomorrow, the sun will rise
04:00at 6 or 7 am.
04:05That is our weather update.
