00:00Duryodhana's endeavour to acquire the throne with deceit is absolutely not acceptable.
00:05And that's the reason you must fight Arjuna.
00:07Further, Lord Krishna adds that they will not die.
00:11Rather, they died at the very moment when they decided that they would fight against
00:15me.
00:16Why do you feel sorry for killing them?
00:22If we stay at home, it's not a bad thing, right?
00:24Dear, it's not about what is good and bad.
00:27Here the point is, what is the purpose?
00:29If you can complete that task at your home, you can be at home.
00:34But sir, the way...
00:36You are here to attend the class.
00:38It's not a bad thing to be at home.
00:39Go home.
00:40Why are you here?
00:43It's not about what is good or bad.
00:45The point is, why do you exist?
00:47The task at hand right now is to become a doctor.
00:50Then why should you sit at home?
00:52Exactly in the same way that you have a purpose to be here at this organisation, there is
00:57a purpose for you to be alive on this particular planet.
01:01It is very clearly understood by all that since you are at the campus, you are here
01:05for some purpose.
01:07But we have never been taught about the fact that since you are on this particular planet
01:11over here, you have to fulfil certain duties.
01:15Then we ask ourselves, what's wrong in sitting at home?
01:17You can still go home and relax.
01:19Nothing's wrong.
01:21Then what are we here for?
01:24Now if at home, if you are doing something which will make your life beautiful or grant
01:30your salvation, then you must sit at home.
01:32It's not about sitting at home or not.
01:35But you have a better idea of what you do sitting at your home than me.
01:40I mean those who sit at home and I am not talking about exceptions.
01:43There will always be 5 exceptions out of 1000.
01:45But those 995 people out of 1000 who are sitting at home, what are they doing?
01:50Tell me what are they doing?
01:51Can't you see that by making them sit at home, what have you done to the consciousness of
01:54women?
01:57Just watch those advertisements on the television which are made by targeting the women only.
02:04Those advertisements are created on the assumptions that the people whom we are catering to don't
02:08have an IQ more than 40.
02:12By making the women sit at home, we have made them useless and redundant.
02:17We told them that your job is to make parathas and many of them don't even cook parathas
02:23these days because with the evolving economy across the world, even that job is done by
02:27somebody else.
02:30So what are you doing at home exactly?
02:33I will extend my full support to you if you are doing something extraordinary sitting
02:37at home.
02:39But you people only tell me very honestly.
02:41I don't want to force you into saying something but what do most people do sitting at home?
02:45Please let me know.
02:47I am with you if you are preparing for entrance exam sitting at your home.
02:51But please tell me what exactly you are doing throughout the day at your home.
02:56Then someone will have to sweep the floor.
03:01Someone will need to clean the house.
03:04Why do you want to become a doctor?
03:06Someone has to be a ward boy too.
03:08For sure.
03:09Then become a ward boy.
03:10Why are you here?
03:12Please understand your target should be to accomplish the most extraordinary task in
03:16your life.
03:17The one at the bottom should also aim for the highest one.
03:21It is illogical to say that being at home means washing clothes, you have a washing
03:25machine for that.
03:26Why don't you leave it?
03:27Wash them manually.
03:29All the technologies are available because you can allot your time to all those things
03:35which are much more important so that you are able to complete the task of the highest
03:41order.
03:42That's why you are here and that's why the technology is here.
03:46What's the logic behind staying at home only to cook?
03:49Who would talk with you if I was also cooking at home at this particular moment?
03:55Sandwiches and samosas were placed before me a while ago.
03:58I am able to talk to you because somebody else made them.
04:01If I get involved in making those snacks, then you would assume that I am in the kitchen
04:05cooking snacks.
04:07Then who would have been here to talk to you?
04:09What would be my logic then?
04:11Somebody must prepare snacks.
04:12Hence, I took up that task.
04:14I fully agree that somebody has to take up that task but at least you must put a full
04:19fleshed effort to do the task of the highest order.
04:22What kind of a logic is this?
04:24That the only thing I need to do in life is to cook and sweep floor.
04:28I keep everything clean and tidy at home.
04:30That's my purpose.
04:31What is being done?
04:32A dusty table is being cleaned with a cloth.
04:34The bathroom is being cleaned.
04:37If you really think that these are the tasks of the highest order, then you can please
04:40continue to do so.
04:41I don't want to say anything.
04:43Then I have absolutely nothing to say.
04:47You talked about the way children have been brought up.
04:49Now tell me something.
04:51When you admit your child in a particular school, what is the exact thought behind it?
04:59Even if you are admitting him to a play school, he is very young.
05:02He is not even three years old.
05:03So which are the things that you keep in your mind?
05:07You will not randomly admit them anywhere, will you?
05:09You take care of a lot of things, don't you?
05:11You want to be absolutely sure of the quality of that particular teacher, the one who is
05:15going to teach your child.
05:17This is what you check, right?
05:19You have come over here because even you want to come up in a particular way.
05:23And you are here at AIIMS, whereas there are many other medical colleges.
05:27But you have come at AIIMS because the one who is going to teach you is one level better
05:31than you.
05:32That's why you have chosen this place, right?
05:35If a mother wants to bring up her child, what is the first thing that she should consider?
05:41That the mother herself should be a cut above.
05:42And the mother here is unaware about the worldly matters.
05:45She is following the old tradition, as someone said right now, that her job is just to cook.
05:48Then how will she bring up her child in a better way?
05:52Every mother thinks that she is giving the best upbringing to her child, yet every child
05:55turns out the same.
05:57This is really funny that every parent feels that they are giving their best to their child.
06:01And ironically, every parent feels that the current generation is spoiled.
06:05If your upbringing is so good, then why should be the current generation so bad?
06:08Can't you see that you are the reason behind it?
06:15And the reason behind this generation getting spoiled is, the parents who call themselves
06:20as the first gurus, their own assumptions, they are actually pretty ordinary.
06:29Mothers have a great impact on their children.
06:32If the mother's personality is defective, if the mother herself is not enlightened,
06:38then she cannot give a good upbringing to her child.
06:40A child doesn't need to be with his mother 24 hours a day for a better upbringing.
06:44They normally say, who will look after the child if the mother is away?
06:46What do you mean by looking after?
06:48The child is happier when the mom is away from home.
06:50The child doesn't want to be looked after.
06:53The child has a problem and that is your overcautious approach.
06:56When you are looking after the child, what exactly are you doing?
06:59When you are with your child, you are forcing all your prejudices on your child.
07:05You are forcing all your scrambled, useless and illogical thoughts on your child.
07:09Is this really going to be good for your child?
07:14If you want to know more, let me know.
07:16Now you tell me, if the parents are giving the best upbringing to their children,
07:19why is our society in a state as it is right now?
07:22But the parents are very proud about their upbringing.
07:24They find absolutely no fault in themselves.
07:26We just want to bring up our children.
07:29How can you give a good upbringing to your children without rectifying yourself?
07:32But there will be a dent in their ego if they accept that they have a problem within themselves.
07:36So we maintain that we are alright.
07:38The child needs to be rectified.
07:40Now that's the problem.
07:41You being alright is a problem and how did this happen?
07:45If you would have been right, why would this problem arise?
07:48No, the problem was with the neighbour and he spoiled him.
07:55A very mature mother, only she can take her children to some really great heights.
08:10And the funny thing is that when a person really becomes mature, he realises that the
08:14motive of life is not only to give birth to children.
08:18And the most unfortunate thing is that the more the people are confused, the more they
08:23think that they are here to expand their family.
08:28Things become worse over there.
08:40See, I have nothing against household chores, alright?
08:44In fact, I myself do a lot of chores, especially during the lockdown.
08:50We have a big boat stall and no outsider used to come over there.
08:55I was equally helping my other teammates in the chores.
08:58I've done everything.
09:01But I am aware as to which task in life is important and how much.
09:07And even you are aware about it.
09:09But I can't help it if you don't want to believe it.
09:14If all the tasks were of equal importance, then what would you call progress?
09:20Tell me.
09:24Now it's a different thing that you do a particular task with full commitment when assigned to you.
09:30That's absolutely fine with me.
09:31But that doesn't mean that every task is of the same order.
09:40Suppose you are the 12th man on the cricket ground.
09:44The only thing left to you is to take drinks on the ground and stay committed to it.
09:50Or if the batsman who is playing on the ground has asked you to replace his bat and you carry
09:57that bat for him, or a situation may arise where a player gets out, assume that he is
10:06out on zero, but he becomes a runner.
10:10You know what's a runner, right?
10:12When a batsman is injured, runners used to be common in the earlier days, but nowadays
10:15there are a lot of restrictions.
10:19But did you learn to play cricket just to become a runner?
10:25This is just a coincidence that at this moment I have to carry the drinks and that's what
10:30I'll do with commitment.
10:32If I have to become a runner at this moment, I will do that job with commitment.
10:35But you also need to consider one thing, that your job is to bat in the middle.
10:40You're not in the team for being a runner.
10:42And if you're just a runner, your mind should be conscious about that fact, that you don't
10:46need to be stagnant.
10:47You have to move on.
10:48I have to go in the middle and bat.
10:50How long will I serve drinks and tea to the players?
