00:06And even though it was declared as a special working holiday by the government,

00:11some schools and universities still suspended classes

00:15or even just held online classes as a reminder of history.

00:25It's been almost four decades since the eyes of the world turned to the Philippines

00:32where, through peaceful elections,

00:35a dictator who has been in office for more than 20 years was removed from office.

00:46This historic day is celebrated every year here at the People Power Monument in EDSA in Quezon City.

00:52This year, there is an activity in EDSA.

00:55Many workers and students continue to travel here because it's not a holiday.
