00:15Welcome to The White Lotus in Thailand.

00:18I talked to global superstar Lalisa Manobal in Bangkok, Thailand

00:24for her acting debut in the hit series The White Lotus Season 3 on Max.

00:29Her role here is a wellness coach who is a childhood friend of Thai actor Tame Taptintong.

00:36The two are obviously close because of their bonding off-screen.

00:41We did make efforts off-set to get to know each other better,

00:44so authentically by doing lunch and dinners and stuff together and some activities.

00:50After our shoot, we're just like, hey, you know, let's do dinner together or just lunch together.

00:56According to Tame, Lisa is a happy person.

01:00She has that aura about her, you know, like on set, I had to be told by Mike White sometimes in some scenes like,

01:06Tame, this is not, you know, this scene, you don't need to smile so much.

01:11You know, can you smile a little less?

01:12When it comes to acting, even though it's Lisa's acting debut, her colleagues are already impressed.

01:18Sometimes she'll be like, oh, I'm just a little nervous and we're just like, oh, it's okay.

01:22You know, it's fine, you're gonna do fine and then they say action and she does amazing.

01:27I think everybody just, you know, trying to support me as much as they can

01:31and they just make me feel so like comfortable on set.

01:35So it's just more easy for me to just, you know, just act it out and no pressure.

01:42In Thailand, she was the new actress for the entire season 3 of the series.

01:46And as a Thai, what did they value the most in their co-actors?

01:51I feel like the Thai food.

01:54The food and like just the views and like the way of getting around the island, you know, it was really cool.

02:00They, you know, sometimes we'd like rent little scooters and go around and it's, you know, it's like a nice island feel.
