00:3121 people were arrested, including the group's leaders,
00:37Dato Adlao and his wife, Bae Lourdes,
00:41who are now facing multiple complaints.
00:45Don't you respect the law?
00:48The compound is the headquarters of the religious group FTGP
00:53or the Federal Tribal Government of the Philippines
00:57who are proving that there is not only Surigao, but the whole of the Philippines.
01:04Where are the ancestral lands, sir?
01:06Entire Surigao?
01:07Surigao, yes. The whole of the Philippines.
01:09And in their headquarters, there were also unidentified people.
01:15It was so obvious that he was trying to convince some of their members
01:19to join them.
01:21We were sent to the Philippines to travel.
01:25We were told that we would not be able to read their loans,
01:29but we were able to read the Martis and Vernis.
01:32Where are your documents?
01:33Where are my documents?
01:36It should be noted that just last month,
01:39the group made a loud noise
01:41after the members of their army locked down
01:44some establishments in Surigao City
01:47who refused to pay when they asked for their taxes
01:52and also signed their documents.
01:55We are dead?
01:56It's illegal.
01:57It's illegal?
01:58We have already obtained a permit from the government.
02:00We have already obtained a permit from the government.
02:01We have already obtained a permit.
02:03The owner of Sarisari Store, John, was trapped
02:06after he was locked inside his store by three FTGP.
02:12F**k!
02:13Fight!
02:14Fight!
02:17We will not leave.
02:18I am so angry.
02:19When we signed the agreement,
02:20we were already a member of the group.
02:22The land and the store were already ours.
02:25We will not rent it anymore.
02:26They are just doing things to threaten us.
02:29Riza's group was also harassed
02:31and she was locked inside a milk tea shop.
02:34I arrived around 9.30 am.
02:37I saw that there was a tarp attached.
02:40Announcement of trespassing.
02:42This is the tarp attached by the Federal.
02:46An ancestral land under the management
02:48of the Federal Tribal Government of the Philippines.
02:52Riza's group,
02:53along with other victims,
02:55filed a case against the FTGP.
02:59We filed a criminal complaint
03:01especially the alarm in scandal,
03:03malicious mischief,
03:04grave coercion,
03:06grave threats,
03:07and physical injury.
03:08Out of the 12 criminal complaints
03:10that we filed in the Surigao City Prosecutor's Office,
03:14there were 4 cases where they found out
03:16that there was a probable cause.
03:18Tomorrow morning,
03:19we will settle this barangay.
03:21Rico, the barangay officer,
03:23was threatened by Dato Adlao's wife,
03:26Bai Lourdes.
03:28After the attack,
03:30they will follow me.
03:31We filed a cybercrime complaint
03:33and then we will defend.
03:34That's why you here,
03:35as the government of Surigao,
03:36behave yourself.
03:37Don't expect us to shed blood for Surigao.
03:40They penetrated the personalities
03:42who complained about killing
03:44or physically harming them.
03:45Due to the grave threat,
03:464 months up to 6 years.
03:48While in the library,
03:506 months up to 4 years.
03:51Rico also wanted to reclaim the land
03:54that is now held by the headquarters of the FTGP.
03:58He is one of the legal owners of the land
04:01after he bought it in 2019.
04:04They are illegal.
04:05All of these properties,
04:07they are the only ones who do it.
04:08We just let them do it.
04:09We know that they are just light materials.
04:11On February 18,
04:13the court issued the warrant of arrest
04:16against Dato Adlao,
04:18Bai Lourdes,
04:19and the members of the FTGP.
04:22We prepared a mission plan.
04:24There are a lot of people inside the compound
04:26and we are expecting that there will be resistance.
04:29Get out! Get out!
04:36The other members of the FEDERAL
04:38took their weapons.
04:40Although there was resistance,
04:42our PNP personnel were quick
04:44because they were overwhelmed
04:46by the number of our troops who entered the area.
04:49Get out! Get out!
04:52Their weapons were also recovered.
04:55Samurai and Itak,
04:57they were beaten for their operations.
05:01And the most intriguing thing is
05:03that the authorities were able to get
05:05some people who did not run away.
05:07They were old people.
05:08We surrendered all of them to the court.
05:10Some more or less,
05:11they were all prisoners.
05:15The compound of the FTGP
05:17was also completely demolished.
05:19They lived here.
05:20Adlao and Bai
05:22had a small room here.
05:24That's their house, Gardahos.
05:25The other house is their lookout.
05:27They are 50 plus,
05:28about 50 more or less.
05:29The property owners,
05:30they can coordinate with the office
05:31of the city building official
05:33to make it better.
05:34It will be hard for them to leave
05:35if there are a lot of them.
05:37They are now under the custody
05:39of Surigao City Jail.
05:40Datu Adlao
05:42gave an interview.
05:44If I were to answer,
05:45there is no case against you.
05:46What we do in the law,
05:48it is in God's hands.
05:49Republic Act 371,
05:51April of 1997,
05:53divine customary law
05:54since time immemorial.
05:55We are diplomats.
05:56We are exempt.
05:57We cannot be prosecuted.
05:58We cannot be imprisoned
05:59even if there is a warrant.
06:01We are talking to diplomats
06:03who are left-wingers
06:05of our kings and queens.
06:07The Federal Tribal Group
06:09of the Philippines
06:10are not legit
06:12indigenous peoples.
06:14They don't have enough documents
06:16to justify
06:18that they are a
06:20legit indigenous peoples'
06:22organization.
06:23Ma'am,
06:24we were ripped off.
06:25We are the ones
06:26who will say,
06:27you are also hijacked.
06:28We are happy, ma'am.
06:29They were given justice
06:31for what they did.
06:33While those who were rescued
06:35are under the custody
06:36of the City Social Welfare
06:38and Development Office of Surigao,
06:40including the mother
06:41of two babies
06:43who were rescued,
06:44Carmina and Angelica,
06:46they are not real names.
06:48We saw that
06:49there are two breastfeeding mothers.
06:51How about the survival
06:53of the babies
06:54who are breastfeeding
06:55to the two mothers?
06:57They were recruited
06:58only this January
06:59after being assured
07:01of all the benefits
07:03in exchange for joining the group
07:05and paying the so-called
07:07diplomat fee.
07:09My plan,
07:10by Lord Gaze,
07:11is that we will have
07:1320,000 diplomats.
07:16My son in Bogangan
07:17will return to Cabao
07:19and he will pay the diplomat fee.
07:22They also lived
07:24inside the compound.
07:25They were given water
07:26and they were told
07:27that there is no way
07:28to thank God
07:29for this.
07:30I am thankful
07:32to God
07:34and the government
07:36for inspiring me.
07:37But some of their promises
07:39were broken.
07:41They were not allowed
07:42to go inside the house
07:44where the cemetery is.
07:46Each family
07:48has their own house
07:50on the side of the cemetery.
07:53And they were given
07:55protection.
07:57We were escorted
07:58so that we can escape
07:59and defend ourselves
08:00when we travel.
08:01The soldiers
08:02were not allowed
08:03to read their loans.
08:04They were allowed
08:05to read their Martis
08:06and Bernis.
08:08Mr. Nicarmina
08:09is one of those
08:10who were caught
08:11by the police
08:12at a checkpoint
08:13where there are
08:148-bit Samurais.
08:16They were intercepted
08:18at the checkpoint
08:20because the members
08:21of the 13th
08:22are still fighting.
08:23I was not allowed
08:24to go inside the house
08:25where the cemetery is.
08:27They were not allowed
08:28to read their loans.
08:29I was not allowed
08:30to read their loans.
08:31I was sick
08:32and I was not able
08:33to go inside the house
08:34where the cemetery is.
08:35I had to help
08:36my family
08:37so that
08:38I can escape
08:39wherever I go.
08:40The government
08:41didn't pay
08:42their bills
08:43no matter how much they adjust themselves, they will return to their true reality.
08:47People join this kind of group because they did not find the care and care
08:55that the state is supposed to give them.
08:59Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!
09:01I think poverty is one of the factors.
09:03It doesn't mean that we are poor.
09:06We don't know how to evaluate our destination and our decisions in life.
09:13I think poverty is one of the factors.
09:18If you don't know how to recruit people,
09:21if you don't know how to work with people,
09:25it's not true.
09:26If you don't know how to work with people,
09:28it's not true.
09:30In remote areas,
09:33Where are your bastos?
09:34Where are your bastos?
09:36Many quickly go crazy,
09:39especially when it does not reach and reaches the government
09:43that should have given them a sufficient and fair service.
09:49Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!
