00:00Malaysia Airport's Holdings Berhad will be officially delisted from Bursa Malaysia
00:05next Tuesday.
00:07In a Bursa filing, the company announced that its entire issued share capital would be removed
00:11from the exchange's official list at 9 a.m. in accordance with paragraph 16.07a of the
00:17main market listing requirements.
00:20Trading of MAHB shares was suspended today and all five of its independent non-executive
00:25directors have resigned ahead of the delisting.
00:28On January 28, Gateway Development Alliance Sindiran Berhad succeeded in getting enough
00:33shares to delist and take MAHB private.
00:36GDA is a consortium comprising Kazana, EPF, Dabudabi Investment Authority, and BlackRock-owned
00:43Global Infrastructure Partners.
00:45MAHB manages 39 airports throughout Malaysia, including 5 international airports, 17 domestic
00:51airports, and 17 short take-off and landing airports.
