00:06Muzaffar Shukor were reported to have provided statements to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption

00:11Commission in the probe codenamed OpSky.

00:14Haryan Metro quoted a source as saying that the trio arrived at MACC's headquarters

00:18in Putrajaya at 9.30am today.

00:21On Sunday, MACC Chief Azanbaki confirmed that several local celebrities would be summoned

00:26this week for questioning as part of its probe.

00:29The anti-graft agency had opened the investigation following complaints about bribery involving

00:34banking institution officials who allegedly facilitated and approved personal loan applications

00:39for a financial consultancy company.

00:42He said based on financial records and statements obtained, these celebrities received payments

00:46ranging from RM150,000 to RM400,000 over one to two years for endorsing the firm.

00:53Payments were also made by the firm to sponsor concerts and commission custom-written songs

00:57on behalf of the syndicate.

00:59Azanb today said investigators wanted to understand why the company used celebrities to promote

01:04its financial packages, particularly to government workers.
