Jackie Hughson who was visiting the Carleton Crematorium and Cemetery on Sunday, February 16, with their mother was horrified to see piles of ashes dumped disrespectfully on the grass.
Mrs Hughson lives in South Shore Blackpool and works as support worker for Blackpool Council, she said, “If you walk down from the double doors until you get to the gardens, the baby gardens are on the left. Instead of going into the gardens, turn right where the plaques are facing the grass. As you get in about 20 yards on the right-hand side, there are piles of ashes.
