Tulfo defends kin's poll bids but vows support for bill banning political dynasties

There is no enabling law that bans political dynasties, senatorial aspirant Erwin Tulfo says on Feb. 18, 2025, after a petition to disqualify him and his kin from seeking public office has been filed before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) against him and his relatives. Tulfo, who is running under the administration-backed Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, also says he will support a bill seeking to prohibit political dynasties in the country.
