00:12Almost 1,000 individuals have been arrested by the police for violating the election gun ban.

00:17According to the DATOS, the Philippine National Police has 971 violators

00:22as of January 12 to February 16, 2025.

00:26The majority in Metro Manila has 290 violators.

00:30Central Luzon has 149 violators and 128 in Central Visayas.

00:385 PNP personnel, 8 armed forces of the Philippines,

00:43and 5 law enforcement agencies were arrested.

00:474 government officials, 1 CAFGU active auxiliary,

00:5222 security guards, 1 child in conflict with the law,

00:56and more than 700 civilians.

00:59They were armed with 962 firearms.

01:07the election gun ban will be in effect in the Philippines until June 11.
