00:00A man was injured in Tala, North Caloocan after being shot by a riding tandem.

00:05Always first in the news, Bea Pinlac, Exclusive.

00:13It seemed like it was just a normal morning in Barangay 187, Tala, North Caloocan on January 24.

00:19Later, the residents were struck by continuous gunfire.

00:24The people ran.

00:31A 55-year-old man was shot in the basketball court of Barangay 187.

00:38Six bullets hit the victim.

00:41According to him, he was leaving the court when a man wearing a helmet shot him.

00:47It was just a few seconds while I was leaving.

00:51I saw that the gun was pointed at me.

00:56I tried to run away from him but he approached me.

00:59He kept shooting at me.

01:01When I got inside, I felt that more bullets were entering my body.

01:05His 12-year-old son witnessed the incident.

01:09Based on the police investigation,

01:12the riding tandem was behind the shooting that they continued to shoot.

01:17The victim believed that some barangay officials who were at the scene of the incident were also involved in the shooting.

01:24He was known as a critic of some projects in the barangay.

01:28I know that the gunman is a hard killer.

01:33That's what I think.

01:36When I was shooting, they were there.

01:39What I was wondering was that the gunman was really aimless.

01:45It was as if he couldn't see the barangay officials who were wearing uniforms.

01:50According to the police, the victim and the witness were leaving the scene.

01:55The people of the barangay were there to support him and help him to do what he did.

02:05The barangay explained that they were only there when the shooting happened.

02:10They immediately called the police.

02:13Our purpose of going there was really just for work.

02:18We were not involved in the shooting at all.

02:22The authorities are continuing to investigate the shooting.

02:26The complaint of those involved in the crime is a frustrated murder.
