DA eyes cheaper pork

The Department of Agriculture is considering selling cheaper pork to give consumers an alternative amid the spiking pork prices, Agriculture Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa says in a press conference on Monday (Feb. 17, 2025). De Mesa said they are likely to come up with a maximum suggested retail price on pork in March.
