After meeting with US President Donald Trump, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated India's firm stand on illegal immigration. During a joint press conference at the white house, the Indian leader said New Delhi has no objection to accepting its citizens who are illegally living in the United States. Prime Minister Modi also underlined the need to eliminate human trafficking networks that take advantage of vulnerable migrants hoping to cross into the US. Reports say two flights carrying hundreds of deportees will arrive in India as soon as this week. The first flight is set to land in the Indian state of Punjab on Saturday, while the second one is expected to arrive after that.
