US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Feb 14 in creating a new energy council to be led by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum that will seek to expand US output of oil and gas.
In addition, Trump said more than 600 million acres of offshore federal waters are now open to oil and gas development after his predecessor Joe Biden had taken them off the table.

00:34It's a pipeline that will bring down the energy prices in New York and in all of New England

00:47We'll be speaking to New York and the New York is actually the biggest beneficiary because

00:53This will reduce them very substantially, but all of the governors want this to happen

01:06We'll do that if we have to in New York, but hopefully we won't have to do that.
01:10The 635 million acres that Biden so viciously took out of our net worth, if you look at

01:27It will be back as of this afternoon and Doug, could you mention that, all of the millions
01:33and millions of acres that he just handed back to nobody?
01:39The executive order by President Biden that wiped out these trillions from our balance
01:44sheet.

01:49to unban that ban and that's been accomplished and so those are back on the U.S. balance
01:54sheet.
01:55Nobody's ever seen anything like it and he did that, I guess, in the last few days of
01:58the administration.
02:00He just wiped it out, 635 million acres, which if you sit down and look, it's a major part
02:07of the ocean and he just gave it away and took it away and fortunately it wasn't done
02:13with an act of Congress or anything and we did it in a, I think, very abbreviated, very
02:19quick and very legal procedure and it's now back on our balance sheet.
02:24It's back as part of our country.
02:26What they did was so horrible, it was just a terrible thing to do.
02:30And you're going to see, this is basically energy dominance and it's going to be environmentally
02:35clean, environmentally wonderful and taxes will be very reasonable based on this.
02:42We're going to make more money than anybody's ever made with energy.
02:45We have more energy than anybody else and it's clean energy, very clean, beautiful energy.
02:51We're lucky we have it.
02:52I call it liquid gold under our feet and we're going to utilize it.
