Federal government in talks with gas companies to boost supply

There are fresh concerns the energy crisis playing out across Europe will see even greater impacts on the Australian energy markets. Resources Minister Madeleine King has reportedly been pressing major gas suppliers to boost supply – while Energy Minister Chris Bowen said it was a live option to pull levers to force them to free up more gas for the domestic market.
