00:29spend their money on lavish social programs. But I might add that Trump said that 2% is
00:34not enough, and Hegseth said the same thing. Trump would like to see the minimum amount
00:39of defence spending to be raised to 5% of GDP, and he believes that European leaders
00:46have a responsibility to explain to their people the security threats facing Europe
00:52and why they must spend more in defence to deal with these threats.
