00:00This is a very serious issue and my understanding is that President Zelensky is
00:05meeting Vice President Vance at the Munich Security Conference. The shadow foreign secretary Priti Patel is there. She'll be
00:12feeding the
00:13the news about what's going on.
00:14But this is something where I want to reassure the public that the Conservative Party stands with the government
00:20side by side in our support for Ukraine. We've invested quite a lot in Ukraine's security.
00:26Russia is a threat. Ukraine has been fighting on behalf of all of Europe and we want to make sure that they maintain sovereignty.
00:33This is a terrible war. Too many lives have been lost and it does need to come to an end.
00:37And I hope that these discussions will bring the war to an end in a way that works for Ukraine.
