00:00Today, we will meet a couple who are not only facing challenges in life but also became a symbol of strength and inspiration for everyone.

00:16Stable love is not measured by perfect or colorful life, but by the ability to support and succeed despite trials.

00:28A good example of this is the story of the PWD couple Mark Anthony Ramirez and Carmela Fuentes Lyones Ramirez.

00:37They are both polio survivors, and despite their trials, their love served as strength for each other.

00:47Mark Anthony was a former para-athlete and forward of the wheelchair basketball team of the Philippine Sports Association for the Differently Abled,

00:55while Carmela was a teacher from Occidental, Mindoro.

00:59They met in 2008, and from then on, their love for each other started, and they remained strong and whole as a family, together with their two children.

01:45Alright, can you tell us how your love story started? How did you meet?

01:55We met in 2008 because we are just common friends.

02:01We had a gathering of persons with disabilities in Quezon City.

02:07We first met at the Banawe Church.

02:11We became friends there. We started dating.

02:16After three months of dating, we started to understand each other.

02:28I answered him, and that's how our love story started.

02:34We were boyfriend and girlfriend for seven years.

02:37We got married in 2015 in Quezon City.

02:42We got married with the help of our friends, persons with disabilities, in Pidaw, Quezon City.
