Eid came early to over 600 Pakistani kids who received various gifts in advance from the Pakistani Association Dubai (PAD) on Saturday.
Pakistani families trooped to PAD centre in Oud Metha, where gift distribution took place, as kids chose for themselves what they wanted. On hand were new dresses, kid’s wristwatches, educational materials and various types of toys.

00:00Every Ramadan we have a lot of activities from the association.
00:14Here today what we are doing here is a new event, new activity this year and we are basically
00:20targeting those kids who are really, I mean, part of our community and not in a position
00:26to celebrate it.
00:27So we thought why not we can do something else that when we are celebrating it with
00:30our kids to let them give a chance as well that Allah has given us this opportunity and
00:35we have requested the people to come and request whatever they have and they have sent the
00:40request by email.
00:42We have already registered 600 kids and today we have given all the 600 kids new dresses,
00:49toys which includes watches, learning books, exercise books, different things and then
00:53all kinds of dresses they have given.
00:55And the basic idea was that they should have a feeling of Eid.
00:59So Alhamdulillah I am very happy today they come with their families and they have selected
01:03the toys of their own choice.
01:05Some kids were there just saying that no I need car, I need this color, this color.
01:09That was a feeling we really want that we should celebrate this Eid all together and
01:13Alhamdulillah the event looks very well, it went all well and overall the event very good.
01:18And again on behalf of Pakistan Association Dubai I wish you all a very happy Eid Mubarak
