00:00I don't smoke or drink or do anything naughty.
00:03My high comes from other human beings.
00:06Podcasts for me were a passion project.
00:08I used to watch a lot of Karan Johar back in the day
00:11because I feel like Coffee with Karan's early seasons
00:14used to be very controversial and very spicy.
00:19You get the guests to your studio.
00:21I've noticed that, you know, you don't go out there.
00:26Is it difficult to get people onto the studio?
00:28Do they like throw tantrums?
00:32It does happen.
00:33Often I've had to have a conversation with people
00:35and tell them about the process that we have.
00:38Like it is a bit of a creative process in terms of
00:40I want to actually chill with my guests before the shoot.
00:45Like I remember even when you had come over,
00:47you know, I think we'd had a cup of tea or something.
00:48Yeah.
00:49We just spoke randomly for a bit.
00:52I don't do that.
00:53I've noticed that my kind of guests
00:56they're slightly different from the profile of you get.
00:59If I had the conversation with them beforehand,
01:02then on air, they don't speak
01:04because they feel we have already said this.
01:07But you have a different process.
01:08Yeah, I think I took up this job primarily
01:13for the fun aspect of it.
01:15I'm talking about podcasting, not content creation.
01:17Content creation I took for my career,
01:19but podcasts for me were a passion project
01:22and it's become what it's become.
01:24I don't smoke or drink or do anything naughty.
01:28My high comes from other human beings.
01:31So like, I really enjoy meeting new people.
01:34My social battery does get drained out after a week's work,
01:38but I'm ready to go again on Monday
01:40because I really enjoy speaking to all kinds of people
01:42and I'm getting to meet the best of the best
01:44of different industries.
01:45So, you know, I have astro-scientists on the show.
01:49I have military men on the show.
01:50I have actors, supermodels, entrepreneurs.
01:54Everyone you can think of, cricketers.
01:56It's a very, very fulfilling life experience.
01:59This is probably the most fulfilling thing I've done
02:01in my whole life, honestly.
02:03This has been like a great phase
02:04and I'm just maximizing this great phase
02:06by also turning it into my profession.
02:09And what about celebrity interviews?
02:11Like for interviewers, for example,
02:13with Karan Johar getting the creme de la creme
02:16of the film industry on his show.
02:18Do you feel that it's this insider conversation?
02:22Then there's Kapil Sharma.
02:23Again, it's like an insider
02:25where they all know each other.
02:27It's from a same milieu that they're talking.
02:31Do you feel that that is great content?
02:34I'm personally not very into the film world.
02:38I learn about it for the sake of the podcast that I do.
02:41I used to watch a lot of Karan Johar back in the day
02:44because I feel like Coffee with Karan's early seasons
02:47used to be very controversial and very spicy.
02:50And it's a bit of a psychology exercise.
02:51You can go back to the early seasons,
02:54see what people said about one another
02:55and see how people's career tracked after that.
02:58A very interesting exercise for me.
02:59I have seen all the early seasons inside out
03:03but I think as my own life went about,
03:06I lost interest a little bit in the film industry.
