On its seventh stage, the Porsche Taycan made a stop in Malaysia as part of Join the Porsche Ride. Specifically, in Kulim, in the state of Kedah, in the north of the country.

00:00Welcome to the next edition of Join the Porsche Ride here in Malaysia.
00:13Join the Porsche Ride is Porsche's global initiative to support local empowerment projects in Germany, France and Switzerland, but also in South Africa, Brazil and China.
00:24Now in 2022, we actually opened the very first local assembly for Porsche outside of Europe here in Kulim in Kedah.
00:32Therefore, I'm very happy to bring this beautiful Join the Porsche Ride Taycan to its next destination right here in Malaysia.
00:40Our initiative in Malaysia is called Sahabat Lestari, which means something like sustainable bodies.
00:54It includes the planting of a mini jungle on the school premises that enables the appreciation of the natural environment, but also fosters responsibility.
01:03Workshops on waste reduction and composting allow for a deeper learning experience and a motivating 30 days waste challenge set the foundation to create really long-term sustainable habits.
01:15We also encourage our students to share the values and the practices within their families and their communities, and therefore each and every one of them becomes a real eco-ambassador.
01:27We believe it's a collective responsibility for all of us to equip this next generation with the relevant skills to care for the environment.
01:34And this wonderful MOU with Porsche, Syme and Inokom is going to provide us a wonderful, wonderful program that will really make a big positive impact on the community here.
