00:23This is it. The new 911 Carrera GTS.

00:26It's beautiful. I mean, what a way to present the car.

00:30She's great, but quite different from the car we saw just now.

00:33That's because the GTS features active aerodynamics.

00:37You can see the 10 vertical adjustable flaps here at the front.

00:41And look at the wheels.

00:43The wheels have the typical GTS central locking system.

00:48And the inside, it looks more sporty.

00:51Absolutely. It's the typical GTS interior with race tags and the contrast stitchings.

00:57I've heard that it's a hybrid car now.

01:00Doesn't that add too much additional weight to a sports car?

01:03No, absolutely not. It's a very special hybrid.

01:06Focused on performance, maximum boost and only very little additional weight.

01:11What is the secret behind it?

01:13We wanted a solution that really enhances performance while keeping the weight down.

01:18All while changing the architecture as little as possible.

01:21So we can stay true to the character of the 911.

01:24And how did you do it?

01:27In the rear, there's the absolutely new, powerful flat six.

01:31Attached to the PDK, which now has an integrated electric motor.

01:36In the front, we have a compact high-voltage battery.

01:41And finally, there's an electric motor in the turbocharger.

01:46And that makes it magic.

01:48So the hybrid system is not meant to extend the range of driving, but to boost performance.

01:54So what's the power output of the whole system?

01:57The 911 Carrera GTS has a whopping 541 horsepower.

02:0261 horsepower more than the previous car.

02:05It delivers 610 Nm of torque and has a top speed of 312 km per hour.

02:11And, most importantly, the weight of the car is 1595 kg.

02:18That means only 50 kg more than before.
