00:09stories at this hour. Injuries caused by animal attacks increased
00:13by 39% last year in Dubai, as more people are adopting pets, a report by the Dubai Corporation
00:19for Ambulance Services revealed. Most of the accidents were caused by home pets, farm animals
00:25or poisonous reptiles the victims came across while camping in the desert. The corporation
00:30registered a total of 170 accidents caused by animal attacks in 2014 in Dubai.
00:37Daesh terrorists have said they were behind a deadly explosion that severely damaged the
00:41Italian consulate in Cairo. At least one person died and several people were injured in the
00:46attack in the Egyptian capital. Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni said that Italy would
00:51not be intimidated and pledged to help Egypt fight terrorism.
00:56Mexican drug lord Joaquin El Chapo Guzman has escaped from a maximum security prison
01:01outside Mexico City. This is the second jailbreak in 14 years that deals an embarrassing blow
01:07to the Mexican government. The kingpin was last spotted by security cameras in the shower
01:12area of the Altiplano prison 90 km west of the capital on Saturday night before disappearing.
01:19All is not well for Superman. Audiences at Comic-Con found out on Saturday during a jam-packed
01:24Warner Bros. presentation. The studio also debuted a first look at the comic book movie
01:29Suicide Squad at the annual convention. But it was Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice that
01:36was the main event that fans had camped out for days to see. Stars Ben Affleck, Henry
01:41Cavill, Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg were on hand to talk about the superhero showdown.
