00:00I don't think you would think that in a Zoya Akhtar film because you're going by all her
00:16films.
00:17She's always done on some casts always and every character has a place in the film, every
00:22character has relevance to the film and I think that's why no actor can ever feel insecure
00:27in that space.
00:28I'm talking for myself and I'm sure everybody else feels the same way also.
00:32That's what it is right, everybody goes unnoticed in Zoya's film, nothing is unnecessary and
00:36if somebody is part of the film it's because it is for a reason and there is a certain
00:41amount of relevance and importance in that, in the story.
00:46I think now Indian film industry hopefully is, and the media also, especially the media
00:50is maturing enough to understand that they should not say that, you know, overshadowing
00:56that sort of thing.
00:57Everybody does his character, you know, and you just do it.
01:01And also you get asked these questions, especially as a girl even more so.
01:05Like I was asked that, you know, you're doing this but Priyanka's role is longer in length
01:10so did you feel insecure?
01:11And I said no, because I know what I'm doing and that's what I want to do and that's something
01:15that works for me and it's something that you have to kind of, I'll tell you where the
01:20problem lies, it's what he said, it's a very very important point, is the media gives it
01:24that kind of unnecessary weightage, you know, when they start making these kind of comparisons.
01:29I don't think actors think that so much and today what's happening is actors are just
01:32becoming bold and saying, you know, we'll deal with the media because we're sure once
01:35the film comes out anyways people will laugh.
01:37Absolutely.
01:38I think that's what's happening.
01:39Also you've got to be secure, I mean if you're secure in your own ability as an actor there's
01:42absolutely no reason to feel insecure.
01:45I feel the more the merrier, you know, the more I really enjoyed the Onsorme experience
01:49and I hope to do many more because you interact with so many different actors and different
01:54energies and it's so, it's all the more interesting to work with, you know, especially when you're
02:00working with so many actors on a script that Zoya Aftar and Reema have written, you know,
02:04because it's so, it's got so much interpersonal play.
02:09It's very very creatively stimulating and engaging to work with many different actors
02:13on the same story.
02:15It's been a great experience and I hope to do more.
02:18The kind of talent she has, the kind of work she does, I think this is just the beginning
02:24of a very very glorious future and hopefully I'll do more and more films with her.
02:29This is my third film and hopefully…
02:31Our payers are going to become like Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit.
02:35Oh my God!
02:36What would you say to that?
02:38Well, that would be great.
02:40I mean, it's a pleasure working with Anilji and I'd love to do more films with him.
02:46I'd love to do more films, I mean, considering I barely work, but she's such a fine actress.
02:53No, no, I feel very comfortable, you know, working with the same people again and again.
03:01I belong to that school.
