00:11U.S. President Barack Obama has urged Western and Muslim leaders to unite to defeat the
00:17false promises of extremism and reject terrorist claims to represent Islam.
00:22The terrorists do not speak for a billion Muslims, Obama told delegates from 60 countries
00:27at a White House summit on countering radicalism.
00:30He chose to face down the critics, saying we are not at war with Islam.
00:33We are at war with people who have perverted Islam.
00:36Top U.S. diplomat John Kerry, who will host a ministerial meeting today aimed at drawing
