00:11A new $1 million international award for robotics and artificial intelligence was announced
00:16at the government summit in Dubai. It was revealed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin
00:20Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The award will also reward 1 million dirhams
00:26for the local UAE version of the contest. Winners will be judged by an expert panel
00:31and awarded in the next summit in 2016.
00:35The US State Department has confirmed it has closed its embassy in Yemen and evacuated
00:40its staff because of the political crisis and security concerns following the takeover
00:44of much of the country by Al-Houthi rebels. The UK has also said it's closing its embassy.
00:52Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kedriwal, whose party won a landslide victory in the Delhi
00:56Assembly elections, is expected to stake his claim to form the government on Wednesday
01:01and take oath on Saturday as the new Chief Minister of Delhi. The AAP, campaigning on
01:07a platform of pro-poor policies and clean government, won 67 out of the 70 seats in
01:13the Delhi Assembly. That's the biggest ever tally for any party in the capital.
01:19A four-way summit in Minsk aimed at resolving the Ukraine crisis is very likely to go ahead
01:24as scheduled, despite a number of unresolved issues, according to French Foreign Minister
01:28Laurent Fabius. The planned meeting comes after rockets killed more than 10 civilians
01:33and soldiers in Ukrainian government-held territory on Tuesday.
01:38Comedian Jon Stewart will leave as the host of Comedy Central's satirical newscast,
01:42The Daily Show, later this year, the Viacom Inc. own network has said. 52-year-old Stewart
01:49has led The Daily Show since 1999. A replacement hasn't yet been named. Stewart's lampooning
01:55of public figures and politicians earned him a loyal following across age groups. And finally,
