00:00Today we are gathered, the World Food Programme and Harley-Davidson to really advocate a very
00:26special cause, which is the school feeding programme that is carried out by the World
00:31Food Programme across the Middle East.
00:33Through this programme we are providing school meals to kids in need all across the region.
00:38Those meals are really an incentive for their parents to send them to school, so it's a
00:43very powerful tool to boost school enrolment.
00:46We are feeding about 2 million kids in the region.
00:49Last year we already did a ride, you know, a joint ride with Harley-Davidson that was
00:54in support of our Women's Empowerment Programme and those joint initiatives are very precious
01:01because they give us an opportunity to raise awareness about our work, our cause and also
01:07to raise funds because today Harley-Davidson will be selling us special bins that will
01:12enable them to raise funds to finance those school meals.
01:17We try to partner with the best and Harley-Davidson really is known for its spirit of solidarity
01:23and because they are so popular among the public it's also a great way for us to reach
01:28out to the public and advocate our cause.
01:31I'm the head road captain of Harley-Davidson Hog in Dubai.
01:38We're a club of 500 members, but that club is just one club of thousands of clubs around
01:45the world.
01:46There's nearly one and a half, two million members in the Hog and we're all Hog lovers,
01:53we're all Harley-Davidson lovers, that's what we do, that's what we live the life.
01:57Now often people perceive anybody on a bike in leather as a naughty boy, as a bad man,
02:06as an outlaw, we're none of those things.
02:09We're just business people, we're friends, we're families that enjoy the lifestyle.
02:15Idea of a woman riding a bike, it's increasing more and more every time, especially an Arab
02:20because I'm an Arab as well.
02:22So it is increasing and I hope it will be increasing so much, I mean now maybe we're
02:26more than 10 or 20 women riders from all ages, maybe I'm the youngest, but it is increasing
02:33way more.
