Kinumpirma ng Philippine Navy na isang research vessel ng China ang namataan sa archipelagic waters ng Pilipinas. Nasiraan daw ito dahil sa masamang panahon pero tingin ng isang security analyst, may ibang pakay ang barko.

00:00The Philippine Navy confirmed that a research vessel of China

00:04was spotted in the archipelagic waters of the Philippines.

00:08It was damaged because of the bad weather,

00:11but a security analyst saw that the ship had a different hull.

00:21Aside from the ships of China that are in the West Philippine Sea,

00:25a Chinese research vessel was also spotted

00:28in the eastern part of Palawan,

00:30inside the archipelagic waters of the Philippines yesterday.

00:34This is the Lan Hai 101,

00:36a Chinese ship with a length of 95 meters.

00:40The Chinese vessel entered the social media post

00:42of the American security analyst, Ray Powell.

00:46The AFP confirmed that on February 9,

00:50the Chinese vessel entered the eastern part of the EEZ of the country.

00:55It was spotted at the AFP's littoral monitoring station on Balabac Island,

01:00one of the EDGA sites of the United States and the Philippines.

01:04The AFP's Western Command immediately sent

01:07the B.R.P. Andres Bonifacio and Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Vessel

01:11B.R.P. Melchora Aquino to monitor the Chinese research vessel

01:16that came from Malaysia and headed to China.

01:18It was challenged on Sunday afternoon

01:20by our monitoring stations in Balabac.

01:24They responded.

01:25They gave their last port of call, their next port of call,

01:28the skipper's name, with 56 crew members,

01:32and they were passing through our archipelagic sea lanes

01:36because of the inclement weather in the western part of Palawan.

01:41Under the doctrine of innocent passage,

01:44anyone can pass through the territorial or archipelagic seas of other countries

01:50as long as it is continuous and does not stop.

01:53This is the expected behavior of foreign ships

01:56from any nationality, from any country,

01:59that passes through our archipelagic waters.
