00:00Welcome to Altamimi Stables. Altamimi Stables is first and foremost about the animals. Obviously
00:14the name indicates that a lot of it is to do with our horses, but we have a lot more
00:17here than just our horses. We have 40 horses here almost at the minute, we just got two
00:22more from the UK yesterday. The horses are not used for riding school, they are all breeding
00:28horses. We do do pony rides for children but we don't do a riding school. The centre was
00:34created as a private home initially and then as it grew and became such a spectacular place
00:40the owner decided that he wanted to make it into a community centre for everybody to enjoy
00:44it as much as he enjoys it with his family because obviously he cannot be here every
00:48day so it's good for him that other people come here and get to use it and get to learn.
00:58We have schools here pretty much every single day this time of year because the weather
01:13is perfect and when the schools do come here they take part in our Heroes Programme. The
01:18Heroes Programme takes all the little bits of everything that we have and makes them
01:22into something structured and something that really gets the kids interactive and learning
01:25while they are here. So the animals, a lot of them are rescue animals that we have brought
01:30in through working with Animal Sanctuary in Dubai or working with CID. Animals that have
01:36been cruelly treated by other farms or have been illegally kept and we are bringing them
01:39here to us to look after them. We are also in a position where we are lucky we have financial
01:46backing that allows us to look after these animals properly and to make sure that they
01:49are rehomed to somewhere that they need to go if they have to go there.
01:56And then on top of that all our facilities are open for leasing. If anyone wants to come
02:22here and rent the facilities they can have a birch party, they can have a wedding, they
02:26can do team building, they can just use our sports facilities, they can look into anything
02:32they want to use any piece of our 30 acres for they can use it for. We try to make the
02:37places open and flexible for anything that people can come up with because we want the
02:43heart of everything is to be something for the community and the community to be able
02:46to come here and do what they want to do. So if they come to our gate and they suggest
02:50something then we are going to make it happen.
