Would you try out this semi-private flight?
Transcript
00:00A seat on this semi-private check-in costs as little as $250, but is it worth it?
00:04I flew with JSX, a public charter specializing in semi-private flights, to find out.
00:08I started at their dedicated terminal in Oakland.
00:11Check-in with security was a breeze because it's just us JSX passengers here.
00:14The lounge is basic, but that's okay because I only had to arrive 20 minutes before my
00:19flight.
00:20There are no overhead compartments on board, so all passengers' bags do get checked.
00:23Luckily it's free.
00:24Meanwhile, dogs of all sizes can fly in the main cabin, a major perk for pet owners.
00:28As for the plane, I thought the seats were plush and comfortable.
00:30Each had a dedicated charger, tray tables, and lots of legroom.
00:34There are no TVs, but there is super-fast Starlink Wi-Fi, and also a nice selection
00:39of snacks and drinks, including the adult kind.
00:41The main downside is just the limited flight routes, mainly in the west and southwest,
00:45but there are plans to expand.
00:47Overall, I thought JSX was fast, efficient, and comfortable.
00:50Though not quite succession-level luxury, it is a great option if you want to get somewhere
00:54fast or keep your four-legged friend on board.
