00:14Mahathir, 99 years old, said the media interview

00:18after the court proceedings on 5 December

00:21merely repeated his explanation

00:23in a slanderous claim against Zahid in 2022.

00:27Mahathir insisted that he had never

00:29uttered a slanderous statement

00:31or disrupted the administration of the judicial system.

00:35On 7 January, the judge, Enkan Tehchok,

00:39allowed Zahid to start a slanderous proceeding

00:42against Mahathir

00:43after hearing the plea of the judge,

00:45Shahrul Fazli Kamarul Zaman, who represented Zahid.

00:49In the court proceedings by the judge

00:51in his way, Haider Enko, on Monday,

00:54Mahathir stated to Zahid that

00:56his statement on 5 December

00:58was a real and serious threat

01:01as a fabrication and speculative without evidence.

01:04Mahathir appealed to Zahid in 2022

01:07for his claim of using the name Kuti

01:10which imagined that he was not born as a Malay or Muslim
