00:00Should they be banned from school? Maybe. I think anyone under 10 should definitely not have phones.
00:15Anyone over 15 or over should have phones, but in between it depends how mature they are.
00:21I think they should be put under better control so that students can use them for learning, but not for personal use.
00:31I think that phones in schools, it's important for children to be able to get a hold of their parents, their parents to be able to get a hold of them.
00:38I also think that they shouldn't be banned, but they should be used appropriately.
00:43I think having them in schools and having them out all the time at breaks and things like that can encourage other children to maybe take phones, do things that they're not supposed to on them,
00:55maybe use social media in the wrong way, which is also contributing to a lot of bullying in schools.
01:00So I think it's something that definitely needs to be monitored, but I wouldn't say to exclude it completely.
01:05I'd say they should be banned because they should concentrate on the education, not what's going on in the world behind them.
01:12I agree with that, yeah.
01:15Wrong information on the internet, and that's where the kids get them from, in the classroom, so why should the teacher have to put up with that?
01:23Pornography, violence, manners, everything. It's gone.
01:29Discipline's gone out of school.
01:31It's all gone.
01:32Phones in schools, it's a bit of a hard one, that. I suppose there's for's and against it.
01:38For's that at least they can contact the parents if they want to, if anything's wrong,
01:44or I suppose looking at against it would be them getting them out and playing with them in class and doing things like that.
01:52So, yeah, I don't know really. It's a hard one, that.
01:56I don't think phones should be used at schools because it's in detriment to other learning.
