00:00If you're in a situation where you can only take holidays at certain times,
00:05but at the same time, you know, kids need their education,
00:08I think it's probably something that needs to be assessed on a sort of individual basis.
00:14I mean, there's different reasons why kids should leave school.
00:17If they're going on holiday, then fine, that's not a good reason.
00:21And there should be some kind of penalty.
00:24I think, you know, taking kids out of school just because it's cheaper, no.
00:28But I think if you apply and you give a valid reason and it's justified,
00:35then I think as long as it's not affecting their education too much
00:38and not having too much time off, then I think it should be allowed, yeah.
00:41But loads of kids, including my daughter, have had trouble going to school
00:45because of different kinds of health reasons.
00:48When that was happening, any kind of fine would have just made things
00:52so much more worrying when they were already worrying.
00:54Parents need a lot more understanding and support about why their kids
00:57might be having trouble attending school.
