00:00It is almost 37 degrees where I am at the moment and it is only set to keep rising.
00:09It's going to be 41 later today and it was 43.9 two days ago, 41 yesterday.
00:14So it has just completely continued.
00:16It's been relentless.
00:18We've had some pretty warm overnight temperatures as well.
00:21Overnight we were in the low 20s and it was 38 degrees even still at 730 last night and
00:27we're expecting to see the same today.
00:29And on top of all the weather, we've got wild weather going on as well.
00:33We had rain, 70 kilometre winds, lightning and dust all happening last night too.
00:38So it's not stopped people though from coming out and enjoying the river.
00:42Lots of skiing, lots of swimming, but it is definitely getting very warm over here.
00:47It sounds like it.
00:48And what can the rest of the state expect today, Shannon?
00:53So it's going to be similar conditions across the state today.
00:56Adelaide is set for 33 degrees but up in the far north a couple of places are forecasted
01:01to get to 43 degrees.
01:03The SES has said this is the most significant hot spell that the state has seen this summer
01:08and they're also warning people to beware of drought stressed trees who have maybe fallen
01:13branches or trees and to avoid parking or camping under those.
01:18But I think it might be time for me to jump in the river and cool off a little bit.
