00:18This is the call of the four hundred motorcycle riders on a unity ride on Marilake Highway in Tanay, Rizal.

00:24Tanay Local Government Unit, Philippine National Police and Highway Patrol Group are here

00:30for the advocacy of saving and being responsible for the next cycle.

00:33One of them is the well-known personality and motorcycle enthusiast, Kuya Kim,

00:38who always has a lot of trivia, and now it's for the motorists.

00:42The word Kamote Rider started with the word Kamote.

00:46And why did we say Kamote?

00:48Because during the American era, our teachers were still Americans,

00:51when we say row four, we say go home and plant Kamote.

00:57It means you're row four and you're not very smart.

01:00Kamote Rider nowadays means those who ride without consideration for others,

01:04just eat or just go to an exhibition.

01:07Motorcycle taxi riders also participated in the event.

01:19Senator JV Ejercito prioritized the saving of motorcycle riders.

01:33Based on the statistics of the Highway Patrol Group,

01:35from January to September 2024,

01:37there are 22,000 out of 38,000 vehicular accidents that are motorcycle-related.

01:42The Land Transportation Office targets to reduce the record of vehicular accidents by half this year.

01:47Since last week, no motorcycle accident has been reported in Marilake.

01:51Out of 250 results, PNP personnel are the ones spreading on the roads of Antipolo, Tanay, and Baras.

01:57The good thing is we didn't see any accidents on the Marilake Highway.

02:04It seems that the help of each sector of the government and private sector is effective.

02:16The LTO has a program, the Motor Vehicle Recognition and Enforcement System,

02:20which involves technology.

02:22This is a high-definition camera.

02:25Even at night, it can be used to monitor the area of Marilake.

02:30The LTO will help local government units to regulate the program.

02:35Meanwhile, the LTO sent a show-cause order to the rider who was saved from a Superman stunt accident in Marilake.

02:42The LTO expects to issue a show-cause order to the motorcycle rider in the hearing this week or next week.
