00:00Hey, it's People in 10.
00:05We officially know which teams are facing off for this year's Super Bowl.
00:09The Kansas City Chiefs will try to defend their title against the Philadelphia Eagles.
00:13Will it be a historic three-peat for KC?
00:15Or will the Eagles fly and avenge their 2023 loss?
00:19One thing's for sure, the Swifties will be tuning in, y'all, to see what she's
00:23gonna wear and to catch cute moments between her and her man.
00:27Trap already made her clap and cheer with his singing.
00:34So let's see if he can seal it with another victory kiss.
00:38But not before Kendrick Lamar hits the stage for his halftime show.
00:42Fresh off his beef with Drake this summer, will he play his Grammy-nommed Not Like Us?
00:46Will he bring out more special guests besides SZA, who we already know will join him?
00:51If his cameo at the 2022 halftime show is anything to go by, it's gonna be lit.
00:57Even if you aren't into football or music, there's the commercials to look forward to.
01:02Hellman's unveiled their iconic reunion between Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal to recreate
01:06their famous When Harry Met Sally deli scene with the help of Sidney Sweeney.
01:12And Uber Eats released two star-studded teasers of their own.
01:16Honestly, Charlie, when my agent first sent me your name, I thought it was the Wi-Fi password.
01:20Well, when my agent told me you were doing this, I thought you'd be doing the catering.
01:25Meanwhile, David Beckham finds out he has a secret sibling in a Stella Artois spot.
01:29And another star is popping up in Taco Bell's Clevver ad.
01:32Did someone photobomb us?
01:34Is that Doja Cat?
01:36Keep your eyes peeled for these and many more.
01:41In other news, Paris Haute Couture Week ends today and had the stars strutting their stuff
01:45in the City of Lights.
01:47Kendall Jenner slayed at Schiaparelli in a waist-snatching gown.
01:51And Gabrielle Union got a front row seat in her sheer black dress paired with a fierce bob.
01:57Was this giving posh spice to anyone else?
01:59Wonder Woman Linda Carter was there too, twinning with her daughter Jessica Altman in bold black
02:04and gold looks.
02:06Over at Dior, Pamela Anderson was a total vision.
02:09First she rocked a flowing white monochrome two-piece, then switched it up with a vintage
02:14veiled headband and retro glam.
02:16Megan Thee Stallion was dripping in jewels at Gara Gupta with a chained headpiece and
02:21daring nails, proving she's always that girl.
02:26And this Sunday's Grammys are going to look a little different, with the backdrop of the
02:29devastating fires in and around LA.
02:32But just how different?
02:33Let's find out.
02:34Hi Jacques.
02:35Hey Brittany, welcome to the show.
02:39Grammy organizers have already said that this year would be unique.
02:42Yeah, so there's going to be a bit of a tone shift this year.
02:45Obviously, LA is recovering from the devastating wildfires, and they're really going to focus
02:49on helping those that were impacted, fire relief, and kind of the music community coming
02:54together with this sense of rebuilding.
02:56So they're going to have to manage both worlds of rallying around people that have been affected
03:00by this horrendous tragedy, while also celebrating some of the big winners.
03:04So who might some of those big winners be?
03:06Yeah, well I think we have to start by talking about Beyonce.
03:08She's up for 11 awards.
03:10She has yet to win album of the year.
03:12That's that huge, you know, the huge one.
03:14I think Cowboy Rick Carter might clinch it for her, and if it does, she'd be the first
03:17black woman to win that in the 21st century.
03:19So that's huge.
03:20We also have Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar up for a bunch of awards.
03:23And of course, we can't rule out Taylor Swift.
03:25Even if she doesn't get any of the awards she's up for, fans might finally get that
03:29announcement about debut, or Reputation Taylor's version, that we've all been waiting for.
03:34Is there anybody that could, you know, pull an upset?
03:36Yeah, if we're talking upsets, I'd have my eyes on Charli XCX.
03:39You know, she started a revolution with Rack Summer.
03:43It literally was a culture shift, so I have my eyes on her.
03:46And it's all about the performances.
03:47Is there anybody I should make sure I lock in on before going to get a snack?
03:51Yeah, it's that young gen.
03:53The next gen, we have the Sabrina Carpenter, Chappelle Roan, Charli's performing.
03:57You know, I'm really excited to see Sabrina.
03:58She always puts on an amazing stage show.
04:00And then we also have like Chris Martin.
04:02He's performing solo without Coldplay.
04:04So I, you know, I'm really interested to see what that's all about.
04:06Brittany, thank you so much for the info.
04:08Of course, Jacques.
04:10The Cyrus family drama is somehow getting even messier.
04:13So we were following along when Trace Cyrus posted a public plea to his dad, Billy Ray,
04:18saying he and his sisters Miley, Brandi, and Noah want him to seek help.
04:23His ex-wife, Fire Rose, spoke out too, saying what's being seen in public reflects what
04:27she experienced privately during their relationship.
04:30Both comments were fueled by Billy Ray's off-key wandering performance at Trump's Liberty
04:35Ball, which was also riddled with technical issues.
04:38But then Billy Ray broke his silence on YouTube with the music video clip featuring Trace,
04:42writing that he's praying for his family.
04:44He added,
04:45Let this moment be the start of healing for us all.
04:48But according to Trace's latest post on IG, what started as a genuine plea for help has
04:53since turned ugly.
04:55Something tells us that this one ain't over yet.
04:58Saturday Night Live is marking a big milestone next month.
05:02It's 50th birthday.
05:04And what an epic half century it's been.
05:06I was like, oh, I'm the funniest s**t that walked in this motherf*****.
05:09Until I sat at the table read and saw that everybody was brilliant.
05:14But it turns out even brilliant people get nervous at new jobs.
05:18I remember being kind of enamored by 30 Rock at first.
05:22It was very surreal and very stressful.
05:25Getting there and being like, oh my God, I could so spectacularly tank this.
05:30I think it takes three to four years to have the fear of getting fired.
05:34Yes.
05:35You get to see the funniest people you've ever seen fail.
05:40SNL is celebrating with a packed three hour special on February 16th.
05:44That's at 8 p.m. Eastern on NBC and Peacock.
05:49Selena Gomez is clapping back after a Republican congressman tweeted that she should be deported.
05:54She wrote,
05:55With the appropriate amount of sass, Mr. Parker, thanks for the laugh and the threat.
06:00All this came after she posted, then deleted, an emotional video about the increase in ICE
06:05raids.
06:06Trump's latest crackdown led to nearly a thousand arrests in one day.
06:09And for Selena, this is personal.
06:12She said before how her family crossed the border from Mexico, before her dad was born
06:16in Texas.
06:17Her message now?
06:18It's simple.
06:19I feel afraid for my country.
06:21TV fans got a treat this week with previews for two very different shows.
06:26Seven children, six animals, two parents, a wild family.
06:33Ready or not, we're about to get up close and personal with the Baldwin brood.
06:37The trailer and first episode spends a lot of time on the Rust shooting and the death
06:41of cinematographer Helena Hutchins.
06:43So we're not quite sure how that will jive with light-hearted family chaos, but we'll
06:48find out when it premieres on February 23rd.
06:51And in the meantime, the White Lotus Thailand opens for business on the 16th.
06:55Someone once said, the secret to life is knowing when to stop.
07:02We were already introduced to these characters in a teaser last month, but now we're seeing
07:07what really makes them tick and what secrets they have to hide.
07:14And Bill Gates is spilling the tea on himself.
07:17In one candid interview, he called his divorce from ex-wife Melinda the mistake I regret
07:21most, admitting it made him miserable.
07:24He even said he's still working on fixing things with her.
07:27And that is not all.
07:28In another interview, he also addressed his controversial connection to Jeffrey Epstein,
07:33calling it a huge error in judgment, I'll say.
07:36He stressed that their meetings were about philanthropy, but acknowledged how much it
07:40hurt his reputation and his marriage.
07:42Alright, take it away Mako.
07:45Now it's the sit down with Noah Centineo.
07:47Hi Noah.
07:48I have a bone to pick with you mister.
07:51The first season of The Recruit was in, uh, check notes, 2022.
07:55Never leave us hanging like that again.
07:57I know.
07:58I'm sorry.
07:59Without giving too much away, what do you think everyone will like the most about season
08:04two?
08:05Yo Teo.
08:06Without a doubt.
08:07He is the propulsive element to this entire season.
08:10I think this season moves so fast.
08:13Um, you know, once it starts to the very end, it just, it just doesn't let go of you.
08:18And I, I think that's exciting.
08:20And I think that there's so much more action in this season and that's really exciting.
08:24And um, and I think, yeah, I think if you like the first season of The Recruit, the
08:28second season is all the best qualities of the first season, but injected with adrenaline.
08:35Especially after playing this character and speaking to actual real life CIA lawyers.
08:40What's one crazy conspiracy theory that you kind of believe?
08:43I think aliens is highly probable.
08:46You know, I think, I think what in, in, in the entire universe that we know and don't
08:52know there's, there's not other intelligent life.
08:54I think that's crazy.
08:56We love you in rom-coms, including your XO Kitty cameo is dropping back, kind of like
09:01going home.
09:02Yeah.
09:03I mean, coming out and doing, um, XO, XO Kitty, like kind of reprising Peter was, it's scary,
09:09right?
09:10It's a daunting thing, right?
09:11Because you have this character that has made an impact and you really, I'm like, I was
09:16like afraid to take Peter out of the box and, and kind of reopen that.
09:21But I love Anna so much.
09:23And I think like, she's just so talented in what she does on XO Kitty's fantastic.
09:29And when Matt Kaplan called me and said, Hey, we're looking, I know you're shooting in South
09:33Korea.
09:34We're shooting XO Kitty at the same time.
09:35Would you be interested?
09:36And I said, I said, um, yeah, yeah, I think I would be, um, you know, and anything for
09:42Anna Hollywood can be chaos, especially after
09:46starring in so many beloved projects like you have, but we don't really see you in gossipy
09:51headlines or paparazzi photos.
09:53What's your strategy from staying away from all the noise and protecting your private
09:57life?
09:58They don't care about me.
09:59Like I'm telling you, I'm telling you I walk, I go walk up and they see me and they're like,
10:06ah, just let them in.
10:07Like it's, I'm serious.
10:08It's phenomenal.
10:10It's so good.
10:11Hold on.
10:12Cause I looked at your Instagram posts and people were like, whatever it made you post
10:15like this.
10:16Please post more.
10:17Oh, well I, I certainly trying to, to post more.
10:21I don't know.
10:22I took a, I took a sabbatical, you know, I, and I, and I'm, I'm ready to come back on
10:27social media.
10:28Um, you know, and especially, especially gearing up for the next year.
10:32It's a big year.
10:33It's an exciting year, but I appreciate that I am a fairly private person and, and, um,
10:39and I try, I don't really step out that often anyway.
10:43Not to rush it, but you've got a big birthday coming up next year.
10:46The big three Oh, what's on your bucket list that you need to get done before you turn
10:5030?
10:51I'll probably quit acting.
10:53No, I would like to do a rom-com, you know, before I turned 30, I'd like to do another
11:01one of those for sure.
11:04Okay.
11:05This is your time to shine.
11:06I'm going to put 10 seconds on the clock.
11:07Tell everyone why they should check out season two of The Recruit.
11:11Ready?
11:12Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, uh, The Recruit season two is coming out on Netflix
11:17January 30th.
11:18I hope you watch it and enjoy it.
11:20Noah, thank you so much for joining us today.
11:23Thank you so much.
11:24Your energy is incredible.
