00:00Police have confirmed that two men were injured following an incident in which two vehicles

00:16rammed into a group of people outside a nightclub in Jalan Kelang Laba, Kuala Lumpur last night.

00:24Brickfields District Police Chief Kumar Shariman Kumar Muth said a report was lodged by a witness

00:29following the incident last night. In a statement, he said one of the victims had to be rushed to

00:35the hospital by ambulance, adding that an investigation has been opened into the case.

00:40A video of the incident has gone viral since last night, showing the two vehicles coming out of a

00:45side lane before driving into the people standing by the side of the road in front of a building.

00:52The vehicles were then seen making a U-turn and going against the flow of traffic

00:56before swerving to target the same group. Kumar Shariman said police will be investigating the

01:02case under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder,

01:06an offence punishable by at least 10 years in jail and a fine upon conviction.
