Tumulong ang driver sa gamutan pero pinapipirma ng dokumento na hindi na maghahabol para sa bayad-danyos.

00:00A rider in Quezon City was hit by a SUV.

00:05The driver helped with the treatment but was asked to sign a document that he will not chase for damages.

00:13Joseph Moro was on the scene.

00:19At 6 in the morning on January 15, while on Richland Avenue in Barangay Sauyo, Quezon City, in Samuel, La Luzario,

00:26a SUV suddenly turned left and hit him in his direction.

00:30He was pulled over so he went under the SUV.

00:33His leg was stuck.

00:34I thought I was going to die.

00:36The big wheel was so close to my face.

00:39I thought I was going to roll over.

00:41I fell down and I was still able to walk.

00:43He hit the other lane.

00:46So he didn't turn in the right lane.

00:50The driver of the SUV stopped.

00:52He told me not to go to the barangay.

00:55He told me to take care of everything.

00:57He was brought to the hospital and the treatment cost him P18,000.

01:02Fortunately, the victim was not injured.

01:05But he was hit by a fire and was seriously injured in his right leg.

01:09Today, the victim went to the Land Transportation Office.

01:13He was asked to file a complaint against him for an accident.

01:17After this, he wanted to file a quit claim.

01:20He said that it doesn't make sense that he can't be chased anymore.

01:23He said that they are ready to give him P50,000

01:27but the driver of the SUV didn't want to.

01:30They don't want to.

01:31They only gave me P15,000.

01:32They're asking us to file a quit claim.

01:35He told us that he wants to reimburse me for my insurance expenses.

01:43According to the barangay, if I file a quit claim, I won't be chased anymore.

01:52According to the LTO, the police should file a complaint against Samuel.
